The Public Utility Law Section of the
Minnesota Bar Association is excited to announce that our February 21, 2018 CLE
will feature a presentation by Bill Grant, Deputy Commissioner of Energy and
Telecommunications for the Minnesota Department of Commerce on the Department’s
2018 legislative agenda as well as key energy issues for 2018. Deputy
Commissioner Grant is responsible for developing and managing programs and
policies for Energy Planning and Advocacy, Energy Facility Permitting, the State
Energy Office, Energy Assistance, Telecommunications, and the Broadband
Development Office. This presentation is timely given that this will be the
second day of the 2018 session.

join us for lunch beginning at Noon, followed by the program from 12:30 – 1:30
p.m.
Box
lunch will be provided. Special meal requests need to be received no
later than Monday, February 19.
