Minnesota State Bar Foundation Awards Grants

The MSBA Bar Foundation met on Dec. 14, 2012 and awarded $17,500 in grants to the following programs:

CASA Minnesota - $1,000
Children’s Law Center of Minnesota - $2,000
Community Action Partnership of Suburban Hennepin - $1,000
Domestic Abuse Project - $1,500
Legal Aid Service of NE MN - $2,500
Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans - $2,000
Minnesota Landmarks Inc. - $500
Missions Inc Programs - $1,000
MSBA Mock Trial Program - $5,000
Restorative Justice Community Action Inc. - $1,000

The MSBA Foundation exists for the express purpose of providing monetary grants to community and bar law-related programs and activities. Areas of emphasis include legal assistance to the disadvantaged, improvements in the administration of justice, and law-related education.
