Environmental Justice Perspectives - From EPA to Local Communities

Event Description

Remote Only Event

Over the past 20 or more years, awareness of environmental justice concerns has grown and expanded.  The Biden Administration has placed environmental justice at the center of its policies. But what is environmental justice? What are EPA’s environmental justice priorities? What do environmental justice concerns mean at the local community level? How will environmental justice considerations impact environmental permitting and other business decisions? Joins us for a panel that will address these and other aspects of environmental justice.

Panelists:

Michael Harley, Executive Director, Environmental Initiative
Christina Motilall, Communications Lead for the Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights, USEPA
