The MSBA Real Property
Certification Board is hosting: Commercial Landlord/Tenant
Law.
Join
us on Thursday, April 2nd for a CLE on Commercial Landlord/Tenant Law.
This presentation will review the law governing Commercial
leases. Topics covered will include assignment and subleasing, the relationship
between a mortgage on the property and a lease, options, taxes and assessments,
insurance and remedies upon default. The session will also review topics
relevant to retail leases such as percentage rent and exclusive use covenants.
This course is designed to help
prepare for the Real Property Certification exam. This presentation is also a good review for any attorney practicing
in this
area.
