Event Description
In May, the Governor signed legislation with new
requirements governing transactions involving various types of nonprofit and
for-profit health care entities. The law became effective May 27, 2023.
This law will impact our health care clients when they engage in a sale,
merger, transfer of assets or joint venture.
Course
objectives:
1. Understand what type of entities
are covered by the law.
2. Understand what type of
transactions are governed by the law.
3. Understand the new
requirements for a health care entity undertaking a covered
transaction.
