Women in Agribusiness

This CLE is open to MEN AND WOMEN – Elimination of Bias credits have been requested.

We encourage everyone to attend this informative session addressing the unique perspective of women in Agribusiness and Ag Law.

Join us for a panel of women in agribusiness. We will discuss the role that women play in today’s ag-related businesses and provide a platform to share their unique experiences and perspectives on ag-related legal and business issues, including, but not limited to the following:

       • How panelists got their start in Ag Biz/Ag Law
       • What unique challenges, if any, exist as a woman in Agribusiness and/or Ag Law
       • What changes, if any, need to be made in the industry/government programs or educational regimes to better equip/assist women in farming or managing their operations or in growing an Ag Law practice
       • Recommendations/Best Practices for women running any aspect of an agribusiness/Ag Law practice both for beginners and more seasoned producers or practitioner (marketing, operations, business planning, financial/tax planning, etc.)
       • Open Forum/Discussion of topics of interest or concern as women in agribusiness

Lunch and registration will begin at 11:45 am. The program will begin at approximately 12:00 pm.
