From the time you wake up until
the time your head hits the pillow, if you’re like many lawyers, you
are multitasking for work and personal life throughout the day. Learn how
your habits-related use of smart phones, tablets, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, portable devices, etc. may be impacting your professional obligation
of client confidentiality. We will also address the importance of vendor and staff
oversight to protect confidentiality of client information and specifically examine rules 1.6
and 5.3 of the Rules of Professional Responsibility. A brief discussion about
opportunities for careers in data security and privacy law will conclude
this session.
This CLE is approved for credit
through December 19, 2018.
