Deadline to Register: January 12,
2016
Insurance policies are long, dense, and constantly
evolving. Understanding the myriad policies and their attendant coverages
and exclusions -- as well as the law defining the rights and obligations
of insurers and policyholders -- poses a monumental task for even the
most experienced insurance recovery attorney. But all attorneys can better serve their clients by understanding the basic concepts of insurance law and identifying when their clients may be entitled to coverage. Dan Schwartz will give an overview of common insurance-policy provisions and the issues that may arise when individuals and companies seek insurance coverage from their carrier.
Lunch and registration will begin at 12:00 p.m.
The program will begin at 12:15 p.m.
