Liz Kramer, a partner at Stinson
Leonard Street and author of the award-winning blog ArbitrationNation (
www.arbitrationnation.com), will present on recent
arbitrability decisions from state courts around the country. Section Two
of the Federal Arbitration Act says arbitration agreements are enforceable to
the same extent as other contracts under state law. But the U.S. Supreme
Court has narrowed the potential state law arguments for invalidating
arbitration agreements in recent years. What is left? Find out what
creative litigants and courts are doing to get out of arbitration.
