An HCBA Signature Program, Hosted by
the Civil Litigation Section.
Sponsored by Taft
Law
In an effort to improve ties between
the bench and bar and to deliver better, more efficient results for litigants, the Civil
Bench of Hennepin County and the Civil Litigation Section are hosting a roundtable
style CLE and social.
The Bench is particularly interested in hearing from civil practitioners on
the topic of Zoom vs. In Person Appearances: what hearing types do you like
remote or in person and why? Should chambers take the lead or would you prefer
to contact chambers to request a particular option? Members of the bar will also
be leading a conversation on fostering settlements and mediation scheduling.
This event will also include time for socializing outside of the CLE portion
and will includes beverages and heavy hors d'oeuvres. A special thanks to the
Civil Litigation Section for sponsoring refreshments for this event.
Roundtable
panelists include:
Bench: Judge Christian Sande, Civil Division
Presiding Judge; Judge Susan Burke; Judge Thomas J. Conley; Judge Lois Conroy;
Judge Joseph Klein; Judge Laurie Miller; Judge Kristin Siegesmund; Judge Bridget
Sullivan; and Judge Edward Wahl
Bar: Janel Dressen, Anthony Ostlund; Liz Fors, Robins Kaplan; Kyle Kroll,
