This seminar will address the potential future impact of PFAS
(ie "forever chemicals") on the construction industry, including emerging litigation and risk
mitigation strategies for contractors. The seminar is directed toward attorneys
who represent construction contractors, designers, architects, engineers, owners
and developers to prepare for anticipated PFAS impact on their practice. In
addition to thousands of suits against manufacturers, PFAS lawsuits have been
filed against non-manufacturers such as water plants, paper mills, container
board plants and recycling facilities. This seminar is designed to prepare
attorneys for the potential impact of PFAS litigation on the construction
industry as emerging lawsuits take the next step moving from the larger
manufacturers (DuPont and 3M) to downstream products.
*Lunch will be provided to those in person
