The American Constitution Society (ACS) Minneapolis-St. Paul Lawyer Chapter has created a database of legal professionals and policy specialists for use by local media. Currently, local media seeks comment on legal and political stories from a limited pool of experts. The ACS MSP chapter hopes to increase the diversity of voices that appear in print, online, and on TV.
This database includes legal professionals aligned with a
progressive vision of our laws and the Constitution (there is no need to be an ACS member). You can specify what policy issues or areas of law you would like to be contacted about in the submission form linked below.
Please note, by submitting your name and contact information, you agree to the following:
· Your name and contact information will be accessible to local press upon request (as a Google Sheets spreadsheet). This list will not be posted publicly and will only be distributed to a limited number of local reporters.
· That you will not represent or speak on behalf of the American Constitution Society or the Minneapolis-St Paul Chapter. If applicable, you may indicate that you are an ACS member or officer--but not speaking on the organization's behalf.
· That you will speak on behalf of yourself, your employer, or an organization, subject to any necessary authorizations.
