Sydnee
Woods | Associate General Counsel
| Metropolitan Council
Sydnee Woods is an Associate General Counsel with the Metropolitan
Council’s Office of General Counsel. She primarily handles employment and
data practices matters, which include litigation, contracts, and policy
issues. She has been with the Council for eleven years. Previously,
Sydnee was a prosecutor in New Orleans and Ramsey County and also a civil
litigator. She received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University of
Chicago, her law degree from Tulane Law School in New Orleans, and clerked for
the Honorable Edward Toussaint, Jr., former Chief Judge of the Minnesota Court
of Appeals. Sydnee has served as an adjunct professor at University of
Minnesota Law School and taught the Race and the Law seminar at William Mitchell
College of Law.
Kristyn Anderson | General Counsel | Minnesota Management & Budget
Kristyn Anderson serves as General Counsel and Enterprise
Employment Law Counsel for Minnesota Management & Budget. Prior to
this position, she worked at the Attorney General’s Office for 13 years in the
Civil Litigation division litigating a variety of civil cases, including
employment law, data practices and Constitutional cases. She regularly
advises State agencies on compliance with employment laws and data practices and
is a frequent trainer on a variety of employment law topics. She practiced
employment law for four years at the beginning of her legal career in a law firm
in Minneapolis.
