The Social Security
Disability Law Section of the Minnesota Bar Association invites you to a review
of the new rules for the evaluation of medical evidence. Topics include new
acceptable medical sources, changes to establishing a Medically Determinable
Impairment (MDI) at Step 2, the reorganization and establishment of five
categories of medical evidence, changes to statements on issues reserved to the
Commissioner, and the new rules concerning the evaluation of medical opinions
and prior administrative findings. The session will be led by Social Security
Disability Law Section Co-Chair, Emily K.
