Live Webinar Description:

The Consumer & Creditor Law Section Annual Meeting will take place from 12:05 PM TO 12:15 PM before the start of the CLE from 12:15 PM-1:15 PM. A vote on the amended 2022 Consumer and Creditor Law Section Bylaws and the 2023-24 Slate of Candidates will be conducted at this meeting.

Learn about fundamental bankruptcy subjects from the viewpoint of two attorneys who have practiced in bankruptcy court in Minnesota for longer than any of them might want to admit.  They will lead you through ten subjects essential to understanding the bankruptcy process.  Subjects included are the ever popular automatic stay and discharge, along with the dreaded preference and fraudulent transfer.  Practice tips will be included, along with war stories, do’s and don’ts, and (hopefully) a little humor.  Feel free to ask questions along the way.
