In this session, you will get a comprehensive overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI), from its historical development to its anticipated applications and future potential, particularly in the legal field. We will start by dispelling common misconceptions about AI and will explain its future role as a personal assistant and researcher. We will then explore the use of AI in legal administration, sharing insights on the impressive capabilities of GPT-4, an advanced AI model. We will also discuss real-world examples of how AI might be used, such as for text summarization, personalization, data analysis, provision of legal information, and even creative writing.

In discussing the future of AI, we will touch on the concept of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and the anticipated integrations with various office productivity tools and document management systems.

Finally, we will delve into the ethical considerations surrounding future AI use. These will include the potential for bias in AI, the risk of manipulation, and the issue of unfair advantages. We will conclude with a brief discussion on extreme scenarios like the "Skynet" scenario and a lively Q&A session with the audience.

Craig Sixta has been assisting organizations develop best-in-class technology solutions for more than twenty years. Mr. Sixta serves as a Chief Technology Officer for Element Technologies, an IT firm that specializes in developing secure solutions for clients in nearly every industry. On behalf of his clients, Mr. Sixta has successfully collaborated with local and federal law enforcement on multiple occasions in apprehending offenders and recovering stolen funds.

Craig has a Certified Information System Security Professional Certification, the most globally recognized standard of achievement in the cybersecurity industry. This certification was also the first information security credential to meet the strict conditions of ISO/IEC Standard 17024. This certification has allowed Element to further expand their Security Services to include Security Assessments, Penetration Testing, Cybersecurity Awareness and Training, and Managed Security.
