Live Webinar Description:
Technology in Health Care will
have speakers looking at different parts of the economy and healthcare that are
being influenced by technology: telehealth, wearables, and more.
The first presentation will delve into the legal and
practical implications of telehealth, including licensing, prescribing and
reimbursement. Our speakers will also discuss the implications of the recent
announcement by White House to end the COVID-19 National and Public
Health Emergency designations and what this means for the future of
telehealth.
The second presentation will consider how the digital
revolution has prompted the development of non-traditional technology in health
care. While these types of technologies, super charged by Artificial
Intelligence (“AI”), hold numerous benefits for patients, they also raise
concerns about health care provider liability and data privacy.
