The
Connecticut Department of Children and Families has recently been recognized in
the media
as
paving the way for transformation of the child
protection system, including reducing out-of-home placements for children as well as racial disparities in the system.
Commissioner Dorantes and Deputy Commissioner Hill-Lilly will share their knowledge, expertise, and experience
in Connecticut to combat racial disparities in the child protection
system and prevent the trauma of out-of-home
placements.
