Join a panel of judges
as they speak about the presentation of expert witness testimony via live remote
(Zoom). While there was some initial opposition to presenting expert testimony
via Zoom, judges have noticed that counsel are increasingly finding this an
acceptable alternative to live in-person, or sworn pre-recorded testimony. This
panel of judges will discuss why live presentation of remote expert testimony is
a) cost effective; b) a great surrogate for live in-person testimony; c) much
better than canned pre-trial static video; and d) that the court technology
works.
