Family Law: Riddles and Urban Rumors

Event Description

There are many urban rumors floating around about the practice of family law. It is important for practitioners to address these pervasive rumors because failure to understand the practice of law in this area can have disastrous lifelong impacts for some of our most vulnerable families in our state. Many of these ideas have become so embedded in our communities they can seem obvious and over time may ‘feel’ true when they, in fact, are not. Bring your questions. We will discuss a few of the most common puzzles, riddles or rumors that arise in the everyday practice of family law.

Please note that this program will take place in a Zoom meeting format. Those attending will be encouraged to participate through use of their video and audio.
