What’s the Catch? – The Legal Complexities of Categorizing Fish in Minnesota

Event Description

Online registration is now closed. Please email ylansiquot@mnbars.org if you have any questions.

On the heels of a lost lawsuit by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, due to "minnows" being defined separately from fish, it is becoming more widely known that Minnesota’s fish face insufficient legal regulation. The presentation will include an update on the legal Petition filed by the Izaak Walton League to protect Minnesota native "rough" fish.
