Pro Bono Criminal Expungement Clinic

Event Description

This program is hosted by the RCBA New Lawyers Section in conjunction with Southern Minneosta Regional Legal Services (SMRLS).

*Attorneys must have attended an expungement training or have previous experience with criminal expungement in order to participate in the Pro Bono Clinic. A recording of a recent expungement training is available. For access, plesae email sgrundhoefer@mnbars.org .*

Join the RCBA New Lawyers for their annual volunteer event! This year we are providing pro bono legal advice to low income clients seeking criminal expungements. Attorneys will work with clients to write criminal expungement petitions. Clients will represent themselves in court.

 

CLE Credits:  
A Lawyer may claim 1 hour of standard CLE credit for every 6 hours of pro bono legal representation that the lawyer provides. Contact the program you volunteer through, or the CLE Board for details.
