This Session of the Equity & Justice CLE Series is co-hosted by Minnesota Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers  and the HCBA Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

In the wake of the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25, 2020, Marika Reese had a vision for the Community Healing Team that would be of and for the African American community. The importance of taking action in response to injustice is a critical lesson for lawyers and legal systems.
