Join the new
lawyers for a virtual cocktail class with the Twin Cities' own Meteor Bar. Meteor will teach us
how to make both a sour cocktail and mocktail. Afterwards we will sip our drinks
while our guest speakers discuss their experiences running for office to
represent our local community.
What’s it like to run for local office, especially during
Covid? Our panel will include a Minneapolis City Council candidate and
recently elected House Representative, and HCBA NLS Board member, Esther
Agbaje. They will discuss their recent experiences on the campaign trail—during
a time when shaking hands is not allowed. Please join us as
the panel members share their stories and experiences running for local office.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy some lighthearted conversation in a casual
atmosphere.
Please note: We
reached capacity on the cocktail/mocktail kits. There is still space to register, but
your registration will not include a complimentary kit.
