Description:
This CLE will focus on common ethical
traps in the Debtor/Creditor arena including how to determine who a lawyer can
and cannot communicate with, common confidentiality issues, and difficult
conflict situations that attorneys can find themselves in through their
representation. The CLE will use hypothetical fact patterns to express
difficulties faced by lawyers and how the Minnesota Rules of Professional
Conduct guide lawyers to the correct course of conduct.
