The CLE will consist of a panel discussion
led by attorneys with experience in immigration and employment law. The
panelists will address challenges and biases the LGBTQI community faces in our
legal system in the context of those seeking asylum, immigrant youth, and
discrimination in the workplace. The CLE will inform attendees of current
challenges and legal trends, but most importantly will provide guidance on how
to best represent clients by also bringing awareness to issues such as cultural
competency and organizations that provide crucial services to the LGBTQI
community.
