When you get to trial, your case is
only as good as the evidence the judge or jury actually get to consider. So,
getting comfortable with – and paying attention to – the rules and procedures
for getting testimony, documents and other evidence into the record is an
important part of your trial practice and trial preparation. Retired Hennepin
County District Court Judge Thomas Fraser and Kyle Kroll– a Minneapolis attorney
with a litigation practice – will walk through some of the key practices you
need to keep in mind as you prepare your evidence and when you present it in
court. The 1-hour session should be a good introduction for newer lawyers, as
well as a useful refresher for attorneys who have been in practice for a
while.
