(Re)Considering Technology in Legal Work

Event Description

Online registration for this program will close on 5/16/22. If you would to attend after that time, please email abollig@mnbars.org .

In this CLE, Matt Ludt will take the participants on a mental trip. Matt and CLE participants will start from this hypothetical origin and examine the ways to develop a law firm considering inclusion & exclusion of technology at each step. This organic (re)consideration of law firm development will transform the way in which we augment our law firms. Participants will recognize mind shifts that better position them for the years ahead.

Further, while technology is synonymous with change, our professional rules of conduct require us to maintain unchanging ethical standards. OLPR Senior Attorney Binh Tuong will co-present with Matt to address the numerous concerns under Rules including 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.6, 1.7, 1.9, 1.14, 1.15, 4.2, and 5.1 that arise when employing new technology.

This CLE is intended for those attorneys interested in ethically improving their practices (and thus improving their lives) with technology in the years ahead.
