Event Description
The
Public Law Section is hosting their Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony and are
starting the day with a fantastic CLE program which will consist of two
presentations.
8:45-9:00 Registration &
Breakfast
9:00-10:00 AM: Joseph Heegaard and Kathryn Iverson
Landrum, the Co-Chairs of the Attorney General’s Pro Bono and Volunteer
Committee, will present a one-hour CLE on Rule 6 of the Minnesota Rules of
Professional Responsibility. This CLE will provide a broad overview of the
public attorney’s obligation to engage in pro bono work and the requirements of
Rule 6. This presentation will also discuss the various ways in which
public attorneys can engage in pro bono work.
10:15-11:15: Get inspired! Hear from a
panel of passionate public law attorneys engaged in pro bono work. Learn
how you can get involved and make pro bono work a
regular part of your practice.
11:45-1:30 (Separate Registration
