The economic recovery in the pandemic has caused significant strain for employers in search of key talent.  The U.S. government's response to COVID-19 has erected an array of barriers to sourcing their talent including evolving legal barriers to travel and administrative processing barriers.  Tune in as Scott Borene and George Maxwell discuss everything from common options and solutions for employers in search of talent including the current and upcoming H1B lottery as well as the impact on those options of the most recent October 25th Presidential Proclamation and CDC order on international travel to the United States, which will go into effect on November 8th.

Speakers:

He is a past Director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and a past Chair of the MSBA Immigration Law Section. He has more than 35 years experience managing immigration projects for employers from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

George C. Maxwell is an Immigration Attorney with Borene Law Firm in Minneapolis. He is a past Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Minnesota-Dakotas Chapter and a past Chair of the MSBA Immigration Law Section.
