Event Description
In this class, we
will study the evolution of the basic sour cocktail, the daisy. Our focus
will be the two most popular of this style of cocktail, the margarita and the
sidecar. We will explore the ins and outs of tequila, cognac and orange curacao
and learn how changing up a basic modifier can be a simple way to create a
completely new cocktail. We will also chat about the history of mocktails
and non-alcoholic ingredients.
Dress up in your
Halloween best for the chance to win first or second prize in the costume
contest at 6:30!
*The first 35 registrants will
receive a cocktail/mocktail kit. Registrants will need to
pick up their kits from Meteor Bar at 2027 N 2nd St
in Minneapolis. Kits will not be mailed. Up to 16 people can attend the cocktail class
in-person at Meteor Bar. Please email Sarah Grundhoefer if you would like to
attend in-person. Masks are required for in-person
attendance.

Remote Participation: Remote instructions will
be emailed to you the day prior to the event.
Payments: Due to the pandemic, accounting staff have
limited access to the office making the processing of checks difficult. We
request that you register online or over the phone by credit card whenever
