Monthly Virtual Informal Round-table Conversations.
Sponsored by the MSBA Family Law
Section.
This
session is REMOTE-ONLY participation. Thank
you.
October Focus:
Join the
MSBA Family Law Section for its monthly roundtable discussion! Described as part
consult group, part networking event, the monthly roundtable discussions are a
chance for family law practitioners to meet and informally discuss trending and
relevant topics in the area of family law. The upcoming roundtable will focus on
working with self-represented litigants. From ICMC to trial, join us for a
discussion about how to engage SRLs, how to interpret SRL pleadings, and when to
object (or not) to an SRLs exhibits or questions at trial. Discussion will also
include the generally relaxed standards that are used with SRLs and how that may
affect family law
cases.
Please come meet with us to network, socialize and feel free to
bring and eat your lunch with us over Zoom. You are strongly encouraged to take
part of the discussion and turn on your webcam. We look forward to a lively
chat!
