This series of lunch-hour CLEs
features speakers on a variety of topics in appellate child protection matters.
Whether you’re taking your first appeal from a child protection matter or your
fiftieth, we hope you’ll find some useful tips, information, and best practices
from these presentations. Each CLE presentation will occur virtually via Zoom
from noon to 1 p.m.
This session features the
Honorable John R. Rodenberg, former district court judge and Minnesota Court of
Appeals judge, who will present on best written and oral argument practices in appeals of
CHIPS and permanency matters. Judge Rodenberg served on the Court of Appeals for
eight years and was a district court judge for 12 years, retiring from the bench
in August
2020.
