This series of lunch-hour CLEs features speakers on a variety of topics in appellate child protection matters. Whether you’re taking your first appeal from a child protection matter or your fiftieth, we hope you’ll find some useful tips, information, and best practices from these presentations. Each CLE presentation will occur virtually via Zoom from noon to 1 p.m.

This session features Natalie Netzel, Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Institute to Transform Child Protection at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, who will present on post-permanency appeals. Professor Netzel supervises law students and social work students in the Child Protection Clinic at Mitchell Hamline and supports institute training, research, and community engagement events. She previously was a law clerk at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
