Event Description
Civil Litigation Section Annual CLE
and Elections
Please join us for a discussion
about jury zoom trials and hear from a group of lawyers who conducted a mock
jury trial before a panel of Hennepin County and Ramsey County jurors in March
2021. The Honorable Edward Wahl will moderate a discussion about their
experience and his experience as the
presiding
judge of the zoom jury trial. They will provide you tips
to prepare for and conduct a jury trial by
zoom and discuss the advantages and pitfalls. You will also learn about the
jurors’ reactions of participating and deliberating a civil case
by zoom.
Prior to the start of the CLE, the
Section Council will host a brief Annual Meeting and Elections to elect the
incoming council members and officers for the 2021-2022 bar year.
