Speakers:

SCOTT M. BORENE is Founder and Managing Attorney of Borene Law Firm, a 7-person boutique immigration law firm in Minneapolis. He was selected as 2020 Minnesota Lawyer of the Year in Immigration Law by The Best Lawyers in America and has been repeatedly recognized among the Top 20 Lawyers in the World “most highly regarded” by other lawyers and General Counsel (Who’s Who Legal). He is a past Director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and a past Chair of the MSBA Immigration Law Section. He has more than 35 years experience managing immigration projects for employers from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

GEORGE C. MAXWELL is an Immigration Attorney with Borene Law Firm in Minneapolis. He is a past Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Minnesota-Dakotas Chapter and a past Chair of the MSBA Immigration Law Section. He has more than 10 years experience handling U.S. and Global immigration matters for businesses and individuals worldwide. George also has more than 7 years international law and litigation experience including work as In-house Counsel at Exxon and at major corporate law firms.
