As the effects of COVID-19 on the economy and our societal needs
continue to present challenges to nearly every nonprofit organization, some
organizations are considering how their endowment and other restricted funds may
be deployed to address escalating financial stresses. This session will discuss endowment spending policies and
how to identify, interpret, and administer legally binding
endowments and other restricted funds as well as potential options
for modifying the restrictions.
