WEBINAR | Emerging Lawyer Ethics Issues - The Intersection of Ethics Rule 3.8(d) and Brady/Giglio

Event Description

 

In this one hour seminar, experienced practitioners will outline the distinct but overlapping ethical and constitutional duties of prosecutors to obtain and disclose certain types of misconduct by law enforcement witnesses.  Discussion will include emerging ethics issues, practical methods for obtaining pertinent law enforcement data under Kyles, the urgency and necessity of prosecutorial offices to have written policies, and potential professional discipline for non-compliance. Resources will be provided for further reading.
