There will be a brief Banckruptcy Section meeting prior to the CLE.

This presentation will cover how the Offer in Compromise (“OIC”) process can serve as an alternative to filing bankruptcy when resolving outstanding SBA loan debt.  We will discuss the OIC process in general and how to effectively represent debtors and creditors through this process.  In addition, we will highlight what to consider when seeking to liquidate or organize SBA debt through a bankruptcy proceeding, without placing the lender’s SBA guarantee in jeopardy.
