Description:
• Jack DeWalt, attorney
for the Petitioner and Appellant, will share his experience representing a
non-biological parent that did not marry the birth mother, or adopt the
children, in her case seeking recognition as a legal parent.
• Mary Pat
Byrn, attorney and legal scholar on same-sex couples and parenting, will share
her views on the Bischoff case and how attorneys should address similar cases in
the future.
The CLE program will run from
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
