Prior to the CLE, the Section will hold our
annual elections for the 2020-21 Council.
Next, we will discuss the developing pro bono
opportunity to provide legal services for small businesses and nonprofits
struggling with property damage and business losses in the wake of the brutal
killing of George Floyd. Click here
for more information.
The program will conclude with a roundtable
discussion on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on lawyers, law firms, construction law
clients, and construction law issues: “Lessons Learned…So Far.” The panelists are experienced construction
lawyers with varying perspectives on these matters. They will share what
they and their organizations have learned and how they have assisted their
clients in dealing with the myriad of problems created by
this unique situation. There will also be time for attendees to share their
experiences in developing best practices.
