WEBINAR | New Changes on the Horizon? Updates on Proposals Related to Fraud and Abuse and Vertical Integration

Event Description

Rescheduled Program from March. Please note the afternoon CLE time from 3 PM to 4 PM. Webcast Only. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, all bar association programming is currently REMOTE-ONLY participation. There will be NO in-person attendance.  Thank you.

Co-Sponsored by the MSBA Health Law Section and Antitrust Law Section.

Please join us for a discussion on two areas of potential changes that could affect every health law practitioner.  We will cover recent trends in antitrust vertical integration and the potential effects of the newly proposed vertical merger guidelines recently published by the FTC and Department of Justice, as well as the Office of Inspector General and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services sweeping proposals that introduce significant new value-based terminology, safe harbors, and exceptions to the federal anti-kickback statute and federal physician self-referral law (Stark).
