April's CLE Program:
please note the CLE timeframe from 12 Noon to 2:00
PM for 2.0 CLE Credits.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, all bar
association programming is currently REMOTE-ONLY participation. There will
be NO in-person attendance. Thank you.
Program:
During this 2-hour CLE,
Presenter Laura Melnick will discuss various public assistance programs and
their eligibility criteria, including overpayments, appeals, limitations, and
more. The specific programs entail:
• Cash Assistance: Family Cash and
Non-Family Cash;
• Food Assistance: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance
Program (SNAP) and Minnesota Food Assistance Program (MFAP);
• Health Care: Medical Assistance (MA), MinnesotaCare
(MNCare), and Emergency Medical
Assistance (EMA).
At the conclusion, Laura will quiz audience
members so pay attention!
