In the era of uncertainty caused by COVID-19, one thing is
certain: there has never been a more crucial time for attorneys to manage their
mental health and wellbeing. While no two attorneys’ experiences during this
crisis are identical, nearly all lawyers—whether they be in private practice or
public service, whether they be solo practitioners or in-house counsel—have at
some point felt afraid, panicked, anxious, overwhelmed or stressed as a result
of the current public health crisis. While feeling this way is normal, it’s
optional. In this CLE, you will learn the true cause of your panic, fear and
frustration. You will also learn how to handle chaos and navigate change through
emotional management and how to move forward to create the results you want in
your legal practice and personal life, no matter the circumstances, by finding
and focusing on your purpose. This CLE will teach you crucial skills and tools
that will allow you to control how you experience this crisis and that will
serve you, your teams, and your clients not just during the current public
health emergency, but in the months and years to come.
