Description:
In addition to the active members of the Armed Forces, the
Minnesota’s Guard and Reserve are facing increased mobilizations and multiple
deployments. In today’s military operating environment, it is more likely
than ever that an unwary practitioner will find themselves dealing with a
service member. Critical to advocating effectively for your client
requires the practitioner to understand pension division, military pay, child
support but also the various benefits available to service members and their
families. This presentation will provide practitioners with a once over the
world on dealing with the common family law issues when a military member is
involved and were to turn for help.
The CLE program will run from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
