Small Law Firm Spring Marketing Bootcamp

Event Description

This event is now remote only.

Most small firms dedicate about a quarter of their business hours to marketing. How do you know whether these efforts are delivering results, or a waste of time? As the saying goes, 'we know we're wasting half our ad dollars, we just don't know which half.' Participants at our last Boot Camp overwhelmingly asked for a follow-up conversation dedicated to marketing. Here it is. We'll chat about social, video, and planning. Plus, we'll share stories about your challenges and success stories.

Schedule:

12:00: 'Table' Discussions

Our new normal means no in-person conversations but we'll do a live build of a section from a marketing plan  or host some other conversation to harness the wisdom of our crowd. Stay tuned.

1:15: Basic Marketing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for Lawyers

Presented by Larry Port, CEO of Rocket Matter

2:15: Social Media for Lawyers

People are online, looking for lawyers and law firms to help them, and what they find will matter. Whether it’s networking, new business development, brand reputation management or thought leadership, social media is a great way to build a brand online.

Understand how social media can help lawyers and law firms build their professional online brand and why it’s becoming increasingly important to be active on social media. You’ll learn how to get started on LinkedIn and learn about practical ways to take your online presence to the next level.

Presented by Phyllis Mma of RedFox Social

3:15:  Video for Lawyers

Steven Soderbergh’s latest project was shot entirely on an iPhone. He says it’s the ‘future of filmmaking.’ You don’t need a huge investment or deep technical expertise to deliver valuable video content. From the casual live webcast to the professionally-edited feature, we’ll review the myriad ways lawyers are using video to demonstrate subject matter expertise, generate qualified leads, and engage with existing clients.
