In the 2019 Special Session, the Minnesota Legislature
passed a law directing the Public Utilities Commission to
convene a stakeholder group to examine the challenges and opportunities
for Minnesota’s energy utilities to attract a diverse workforce with the
skills needed to advance a 21st century industry and to increase supplier diversity. Join
the leaders of that stakeholder group as they discuss the stakeholder-group
process, the findings and recommendations in the group’s report to the
Legislature, and next steps to increase workplace and supplier diversity for Minnesota’s
utilities.
