CLE Program:
Join us in welcoming Justin Page from the Minnesota Disability
Law Center. Mr. Page will present a one hour CLE on best practices for Rule114
Neutrals working with individuals with disabilities. Have you ever been asked by
a party if they can record the mediation session as a reasonable accommodation?
Ever wondered if the office space you use for mediation and arbitration sessions
is accessible? Do you know what you would do if a party told you they would be
accompanied by their service animal, but you have a coworker in your office
space who’s allergic to dogs? Mr. Page will help us learn how to implement best
practices around these and many other questions that arise in the intersection
of ADR and the ADA. Additional topics covered will include handling reasonable
accommodation requests, applicable provisions of the ADA as it relates to
employment, family law, housing, education, and public decision making
processes. Send your questions in advance or bring your questions and come
prepared to enjoy an information packed session with
us.
