Description:
Update on the progress of the work of the Taskforce on the
Legal Paraprofessional Pilot Project, charged with developing a pilot program
allowing a limited expanded scope for paraprofessionals (under lawyer
supervision) in one or more of three areas: housing law, family law, and
creditor-debtor law. Justice Thissen would like to engage in a discussion with
lawyers about the direction of the pilot program, about both concerns and hopes
for the idea.
Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 am,
the CLE program will run from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Lunch is included in your
registration.
LUNCH: We will provide a selection of
sandwiches. For dietary restrictions or a vegetarian lunch, choose the
appropriate selection on the registration screen.

The First National Bank Building Conference Center Training Room is on the
street level, just inside the building entrance at the corner of Fifth and
Minnesota Streets in downtown St. Paul. The building address is 332 Minnesota
Street.
