This continuing legal education program
will discuss public service loan forgiveness (PSLF) of federal student loans,
examining the beginnings of the program, current state of the program, and where
PSLF may be heading under various proposals. This program will explore in
depth the criteria established to apply for forgiveness, the impact that
borrowers have seen in making their applications, current litigation with the
Department of Education, and various legislative and executive proposals.
If you have federal student loans and work in public service, or have clients
who do, this CLE is a must attend.
*Lunch will be included. Lunch,
registration and networking will begin at 11:45 am. The CLE
program begins at 12:00 pm and goes until 1:00 pm.
